Some days you have specific questions.
Other days you just need to talk with someone who's been there.
Here parents come together to ask questions,
share real-life experiences, and figure it out together.

The sleepless nights.
The constant wondering.
The new challenges.
The important decisions.
Most people will never fully understand what it's like to raise an autistic child.
Information matters. But raising an autistic child takes more than information alone.
We need people who've been there.
People who understand the hard days and celebrate the victories.
Some answers come from research. Others come from parents who've lived it. Both matter.
That's why we're building something different—a place where parents come together to help each other figure it out.

Ask questions, vent after hard days, celebrate victories, and talk with parents who understand.

Coffee chats, discussions, polls, and shared experiences that keep you connected.

Learn from ASD adults, educators, and therapists who share their knowledge and experiences.
No two families experience autism the same way.
That's why you'll find different ways to connect, learn, and participate.

After raising my son with autism for more than two decades, I know the uncertainty, exhaustion, and worry that so many parents carry.
I know the anger and heartbreak of my child being bullied. I know what it feels like to be judged by people who don't understand autism. And I know how isolating it can be when you don't have anyone to talk to who truly understands.
I wished there were a place where parents could ask honest questions, share real-life experiences, and simply talk openly without fear of being judged. I worked full-time, was raising two kids as a single mom, and simply didn't have the time or energy to attend in-person support groups.
That's why I built this community—one where parents can learn from one another, find encouragement, and never feel like they have to figure everything out alone.
Hear from autistic adults, professionals, educators, and advocates who
bring valuable insights, practical ideas, and real-world experience.
Explore conversations, attend Coffee Talks, and decide whether
the community is the right fit for your family.

Navigating Autism was created for parents raising children on the autism spectrum who want practical ideas, honest conversations, and people who truly understand what life with autism is like.
We also welcome grandparents, caregivers, autistic adults, educators, therapists, and professionals who want to share their knowledge, experience, and perspectives with families.
Whether you're looking for answers, practical ideas, or people who simply someone who understands, you'll find parents here who are learning from one another and figuring it out together.
Free autism groups can be incredibly helpful. Many parents discover helpful ideas, encouragement, and a sense of connection there.
But they can also become overwhelming—thousands of posts, endless scrolling, conflicting advice, and conversations that quickly disappear.
Too often, parents find themselves defending their choices, being judged, or hesitant to ask honest questions for fear of criticism.
Navigating Autism was created to be something different.
✓ Honest conversations with parents who understand
✓ Practical ideas and comprehensive information in one place
✓ Different perspectives from parents, autistic adults, educators, therapists, and professionals
✓ Weekly Coffee Talks, live events, and ongoing discussions
✓ An ad-free community focused entirely on autism families
Some answers come from research. Others come from parents who've been there. Both matter.
Our goal is simple: to create a place where families can learn, connect, and figure it out together.
Navigating Autism was built by an autism parent, for autism parents and caregivers who need more than information alone.
It was created to be the kind of community many of us wished we'd found sooner—where honest questions are welcomed, different perspectives are respected, and no one feels like they have to defend themselves.
Here, families learn from one another, share practical ideas, celebrate victories, and figure it out together.
Every week brings new opportunities to connect, learn, and share with other autism parents and caregivers. Depending on the week, you might find:
